Pre-Engineering
Are you interested in studying Engineering at Ontario Tech, but don't have the prerequisite courses for regular admission requirements? You may be eligible for the Pre-Engineering program.
This program offers a structured pathway with targeted courses to help you meet admission requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll be able to transfer into an Engineering program of your choice, based on academic performance during the Pre-Engineering program.
Our program is specifically designed to support you if you aspire to enter an Engineering program and if you did not have the opportunity to take all the prerequisites such as the necessary science and mathematics courses in high school.
Admissions
The Pre-Engineering program students would of taken MHF4U: Advanced Functions in high school and have not taken the following Grade 12 courses:
- MCV4U: Calculus and Vectors
- SCH4U: Chemistry
- SPH4U: Physics
Pre-Engineering Program Map
As part of the Pre-Engineering program, students must complete the following courses:
- CHEM 0900U: Preparatory Chemistry for Engineers
- MATH 0900U: Preparatory Math for Engineers
- PHY 0900U: Preparatory Physics for Engineers
