Jeffrey S. Boyce Engineering Innovation and Design Studio

The Engineering Innovation and Design Studio supports student projects and is accessible to students throughout the year. Technical staff with a vast disciplinary focus is available to support multidisciplinary projects and safe operations. To help kick start and realize their dream design projects, the students can tap into the wealth of knowledge and experience of the staff who advise and mentor students. The studio’s current hardware and software capabilities include but not limited to: 3D printing, State-of-the-art 3D scanner with reverse engineering software package and Electronics workbenches with oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies as well as other instruments and tools. These resources are extensively used for student projects where students have the opportunity to apply engineering principles to develop working prototypes.
The Design Studio is open to students from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily during the Fall/Winter semesters, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Spring/Summer semester.
