Our Undergraduate Programs
The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering offers a variety of engineering programs designed to meet the needs of industry. Our university’s engineering programs provide a solid foundation in the fundamentals of mathematics, computing, and science, with significant content in engineering sciences and design.
All our engineering programs incorporate co-op opportunities to gain invaluable work experience prior to graduation. These experiential learning opportunities range in duration from 4-16 months and can be completed throughout their degree with employers of their own choosing. Students in the co-op who successfully complete three work terms will graduate with the Co-operative Education designation on their degree parchments. The Engineering co-op education model has been designed to conform to the Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL).
Each student benefits from the university’s technology-enriched learning environment on our campus which is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and fully networked classrooms.
