STEM Nights
STEM Night is an engaging, hands-on evening event where participants explore a variety of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities through interactive drop-in stations - all led by our dedicated team of experienced engineering students.
STEM Nights showcase the world of technology while giving students the opportunity to explore real-world engineering concepts. From coding robots to experimenting with chemical reactions, participants engage in fun, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and foster a lasting interest in STEM among students, families, and the broader community.
This event will connect participants with like-minded, supportive peers at school and role-models who will encourage youth to explore and pursue STEM and programming fields.

STEM Night with Engineering Outreach is an exciting and interactive event designed to ignite curiosity and passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among students, parents, and the wider community.
SPOT on Stage
Spot on Stage presentation is an engaging 30-minute presentation designed to showcase Spot, a robot dog developed by Boston Dynamics to your school in a large assembly format.
We will discuss how Spot works and connect it to real-world STEM careers through a live demonstration led by the Engineering Outreach team of experienced instructors, and answer any burning questions that students may have about Spot. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to inspire your students with cutting-edge technology!
This event will also connect participants with like-minded, supportive role-models who will encourage youth to explore and pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and programming fields.
Available for schools within a 30-minute drive of Ontario Tech University’s North Oshawa Campus. Because of the time and resources required to deliver this program, we are only able to accommodate bookings for full-school audiences (or large combined groups) at this time.
