Speaker Bio

Meet our Keynote Speaker, Erin!

A smiling young woman wearing a blue t-shirt with the text "ENGINEERING OUTREACH."

Erin is a fourth-year Electrical Engineering Student at Ontario Tech. She decided to study Electrical Engineering because she enjoyed STEM subjects, especially math, in high school, and liked that an engineering degree could open up a lot of different career paths. Currently, Erin is on her second co-op term at Ontario Power Generation as a Maintenance Assessing Co-Op Student. She has also completed a co-op term at Elexicon as a System Control Centre Co-op Student. Erin enjoys participating in events that encourage young people to explore STEM, with a special focus on inspiring young girls to see themselves in these fields.
